The best resources to learn spanish

If you are looking to learn a second language, you shouldn’t hesitate to acquire Spanish: with more than 500 million people who speak it as their native tongue or second language, you will always find someone with whom to communicate. Plus, with over 50 million Spanish speakers in the US, knowing the language will open up new professional, cultural, and social opportunities for you.

For example, English has borrowed extensively from Spanish, incorporating words like guerrilla, avocado, tornado, and armada. Similarly, Spanish has hundreds of loanwords from English, such as rugby, chat, spinning, and email.

Even though learning with a native-speaking teacher is a great advantage, the truth is that self-study and practicing outside the classroom brings about outstanding results in a short time. Check out our compilation of free online resources and put your skills into practice from the comfort of your home!
