The University of Virginia
Hi! I'm Corinne and I'm an Undergraduate Architecture student at the University of Virginia. Every time I travel, I choose my destinations based on my passions (Architecture and History). I’m interested in seeing how architecture has evolved over centuries across many different landscapes and cultures. I believe that the history of architecture is the history of human civilization. And for my next trip (hopefully the first of many to Latin America!), I would like to visit some of the most important pre-Columbian temples in Central America(Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica). I want to be able to fully understand the stories behind these temples as told by locals. That's why I've been studying Spanish for the past 4 months and decided to apply for this Scholarship, which will allow me to spend more time in each of the countries I want to visit and make the most out of this fantastic experience!
Corinne is one step away from getting the $3,000 USD
